Seamus Heaney HomePlace is located in the village of Bellaghy, situated just under 60 minutes away from Ballygally Castle. Seamus Heaney himself was born and raised within the area and choose Bellaghy as his final resting place.

Developed by Mid Ulster District Council, Seamus Heaney HomePlace is a purpose-built arts and literary centre, which celebrates the life and work of the late poet and Nobel Laureate, Seamus Heaney, and contributes to his legacy.
